At present we think we need jobs in order to subsist. A schedule, responsibilities, goals, motivation and achievements -or downfalls- and back to the beginning.
At Biovac we have considered that our contribution to prosthetic coating should go beyond these basic concepts, with all due respect to many other professions.
We have been very fortunate to be able to dedicate ourselves since 1991 to something as exciting and important as prosthetic coating, and we do it with the same effort and care from day one. Because we feel part of a vital chain in order to offer people a better health, so that they will not suffer pain and they will be able to have a life as “normal” as possible. For us, each implant is an instrument for a better life.
We cannot allow ourselves to make a mistake in our sector, therefore, strict quality control through internal and external audits to obtain ISO certificates are one of the main self-requirements of our company.
The only company in Spain that makes coating for prostheses
We pride ourselves on being practically the only company that makes porous coatings, which have unique properties of extreme porosity for osseointegration through its interconnected network. These are facts and not just words. We can assure you that its biocompatibility has been historically proven with more than positive results. It is an adherence system that is fully proven for its effectiveness and that we have been developing since the beginning of our activity.
Following our purpose of continuous improvement, we have expanded the range of products to coatings with plasma, which in turn work with three materials: hydroxyapatite, titanium and double-layer plasma.
Thanks to our know-how and demand we have been able to continue with this precious profession and advance to international markets such as Europe, Oceania, Asia and South America. We hope that soon there will be many more markets to be able to reach our main objective: helping people.
